Presentations
The technical programme of MARINE 2025 includes six plenary lectures, 25 invited sessions, one general session and 200 oral presentations, including eight keynote lectures.
Time:
Each contributed talk is allocated 20 minutes, keynote lectures are allocated 40 minutes, and plenary lectures 50 minutes. These durations include time for Q&A and five minutes to change room after each plenary.
Equipment:
Speakers can provide their presentation on a USB drive in a Microsoft PowerPoint compatible format or as a PDF. Alternatively, they are kindly requested to use their own laptop for presentations. Each session room is equipped with an LCD projector and HDMI connection. Speakers that aim to use their own laptop should ensure that their laptops have an HDMI port or shall bring their own adapter. In any case, we strongly recommend saving a copy of the presentation on a USB drive as a backup.
Power sockets and plug converters for electricity:
In Scotland, power plugs and sockets (outlets) of type G are used. These sockets have three rectangular prongs arranged in a triangular pattern, and they are commonly used throughout the United Kingdom. The standard voltage is 230 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.
