Submission of contributions
Contributions and conference registration should be submitted exclusively electronically via the conference website.
Submission of Abstracts and papers
Abstracts and papers should be converted to .pdf before submission.
To submit your abstract, please follow the steps below:
- Register for the conference here with your email address. Introduce the PIN code received by email upon registration and a password.
- Login to the account here.
- Complete the profile.
- Go to "My congress" and then "My contributions" (or click here) on the menu on the right-hand side of the page. Click on "Submit a contribution."
To make any changes to the contribution submitted, log in as a registered participant, update the paper information, and submit the new file.
To check that the submission was successful, refresh the website and log in again.

Abstract Preparation
Abstracts should be submitted by no later than | 1st December 2024 |
Acceptance of Abstracts will be confirmed by | 20th February 2025 |
Abstracts shall be written following the MS Word or Latex template available below and should be one page long, including figures and references.
It shall briefly describe the topic and the state of the art (including up to 10 citations), identify the lack of knowledge or the scientific /engineering research questions that the study aims to address, summarise the methodology, the results, and the conclusions, as well as describe their general significance.
Authors are invited to submit contributions to any of the conference topics (no session code is required; the topics can be selected from the drop-down menu when uploading the abstract).
Submissions to Invited Sessions are by invitation of the IS Organizers (session code is required).
Full Paper Preparation
Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper of up to 8 pages that will be peer-reviewed. The submission of the full paper is not mandatory.
Full Paper should be submitted by no later than | 20th April 2025 |
Papers shall be written following the MS Word or Latex template available here:
Conference Proceedings, including the accepted full papers, will be published on Scipedia with DOI number after the conference and will be submitted for indexation to the Scopus database.
Selected papers will be invited for publication in either the Journal of Ocean Engineering and Marine Energy (Springer), or the Journal of Sailing Technology (SNAME).
Each accepted contribution (Abstract with or without Paper) must be presented by a registered attendee, and each attendee can present up to one contribution.
