This study evaluates the pore pressure distribution inside a rubble mound breakwater in depth-limited water conditions using the OpenFOAM model based on Computational Fluid Dynamics. A consolidated strategy is adopted to calibrate and validate waves and pressures against experimental data. Wave-structure interaction is analyzed and a dataset in terms of internal pressures is provided after the simulation campaign. Finally, strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement are developed on the non-linear fluid dynamics within porous media in numerical models.
