Monday 23rd June 2025, meet outside of 50 George Square at 17.15 (Group 1) and 17.30 (Group 2). Group assignments are based on registration date and will be notified in due course.

Kickstart Marine 2025 with a gin and whiskey tour!

Join us for an evening of discovery at the Holyrood Distillery! At 17.15, conference delegates will gather at the conference centre and enjoy a scenic 13-minute walk to the distillery, passing near the iconic Arthur's Seat as the city basks in the bright summer evening.

Once at Holyrood, you'll embark on the Classic Distillery Tour, a 60-minute journey to dive into the craftsmanship behind Holyrood’s whiskies and gins, from the malting process to the final bottling. The tour concludes with a tasting of their distinctive spirits, a gin and a whiskey, each sip infused with Edinburgh’s rich history and vibrant character—an inspiring close to the day!

On the way back, delegates can enjoy a gentle walk along the paved path at the base of Arthur’s Seat without any climbing shoes required. This accessible route provides sweeping views of Edinburgh, the Crags, and Holyrood Park’s lush landscape and allows everyone to experience a taste of Edinburgh’s natural beauty for memorable memories and photos.
